Here you will find miniature unfinished porcelain blanks for dishes, holidays, vases and planters, accessories, figurines, and more. This is porcelain from my studio that I have left blank to allow you to finish as you choose. It is polished and ready to use or decorate. Leave it plain, trim it with decals, glaze it and fire it in a kiln or paint it with acrylic or china paint. The choice is yours. Use your creativity to make that special piece for your dollhouse or miniature arrangement.
Some of these pieces can be found finished and decorated on other pages of my website. But if you want to try your hand at a creative piece, this is the page for you.
A note on paint: Regular craft paint will not work well on porcelain. However, any paint that is made for china or glass decoration will.
There are china paints that need to be kiln fired and those that air dry. Another process that gets good results in using Translucents, like FashenHue. Ceramics shops carry them or they can be purchased online. Interesting results can be gotten with chalks.
I use Delta PermEnamel, which you can buy at most hobby and craft suppliers. Or it can be purchased online. It cleans up with water and can be mixed to create the perfect shade. It is a 3 stage process. First clean and condition the surface, then paint and seal.
