They actually come from an alder tree. They are a very pretty dark brown.
These cones measure about 1/2" long and under. They are a bit more round and full than the ones I carried before. They measure about 1/2" in diameter.
Each packet contains at least 20 perfect cones and a couple extra, just in case one or two aren't to your liking.
